One of eight from Yucatan that was introduced to the US several years ago. The two reds, ‘Guadalupe Fernandez’ and ‘Maya Sangra’ are among the best of the group. Hard to root – recommend grafting. The blooms start fully red but become more interesting when they have faded. Thick petals. Cooler weather allows the brighter colors to come through. Recommended.
