Plumeria goes dormant in winter. If you live in a cold climate, move potted Plumeria indoors before the first frost. Allow the plant to go dormant by reducing water and withholding fertilizer. Store it in a cool, dry, and dark place until spring, when you can gradually reintroduce water and light.
