In the Dance of Plumeria’s Bloom

“In the Dance of Plumeria’s Bloom”

by Tex Norwood

Upon the plumerias branch, a marvel unfolds,
A story of nature, in its grasp, it holds.
From a single point, the inflorescence forms,
A beginning of beauty, in the quiet before storms.

Each bud emerges, delicate and small,
In the dance of life, answering nature’s call.
Unfurling gently, a bloom so bright,
Basking in the sun, a wondrous sight.

But this is not the end, merely a pause in time,
For each spent bloom, a new chapter in its prime.
Where once was one, now may be two, or more,
Branches stretching skyward, as their blossoms soar.

One becomes many, in an intricate dance,
A ballet of branches, given the chance.
Each split a path, to new skies they reach,
In the plumeria’s journey, a silent speech.

On every branch, new blooms await,
With each season’s turn, they contemplate.
A cycle of growth, of splendor anew,
In vibrant hues of pink, yellow, and dew.

So observe the plumeria, in its regal stance,
From one to many, in its advance.
In this dance of branches, life finds a way,
To bring forth new blooms, in a splendid array.

Next season’s promise, in each branch lies,
Under the sun, beneath the open skies.
In the plumeria’s dance, beauty repeats,
In the chorus of blooms, where heart meets.
