How does a Plumeria seedpod form?

After successful pollination, the ovary of the Plumeria flower starts to develop into a seedpod. As the seeds inside the ovary mature, the pod gradually swells and elongates. The seedpod undergoes a transformation from a small, fertilized ovary to a larger, mature fruit containing fully developed seeds. Once the seeds are ready for dispersal, the seedpod will split open, releasing the seeds. The formation of a seedpod is a critical stage in the reproductive cycle of Plumeria, as it ensures the dispersal and potential germination of seeds to produce new plants.
