Do I need a permit to import Plumeria into the US?

Depending on the source country and the quantity of Plumeria being imported, a permit may be required from the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). The permit is known as a PPQ 526 and must be obtained before importing Plumeria into the US. The permit application will typically require information about the source of the plants, intended use, and compliance with phytosanitary requirements. It’s essential to apply for the permit well in advance of the importation process to ensure a smooth and legal importation of Plumeria.
