Lemon Drop aka Thornton’s Lemon Drop Plumeria
Lemon Drop #224 AKA Thornton Lemon Drop, 3 1/2″ flower yellow with lemon fragrance. Same detail as Celadine although flower is almost entirely yellow. White edging as flower ages. Brilliant yellow; petal wide, elliptical, pointed tip, highly overlapping, no bands on front or back; heavy texture; excellent keeping quality. Its growth habit is compact with well proportioned branching. Best for fragrance. Pod Parent: Courtade Pink. Bright green leaves with pubescent new growth. Compact tree. Multiple, full, vibrant yellow inflos. Bright white along the outer edges of the petals. The leaves are dark green, quite lush and full.
